Mexican-American Designer and Educator
Alumni of the San José State University Industrial Design and Pensole Lewis Footwear Design programs with a style that blends street, sport, and cultural influences.
I grew up in the small town of Selma, located in California’s Central Valley. One of my greatest aspirations has always been to represent my community at the highest level and to inspire young people who, like me, had few creative role models who shared our backgrounds and experiences.
My work spans virtual and physical product design, footwear development, and graphic design, supported by hands-on experience with modern workflows and prototyping. I’m especially passionate about lifestyle and performance product design, and I also bring experience in visual merchandising, photography, and marketing to create thoughtful, story-driven work.
Alongside design, education is important to me—I enjoy mentoring, teaching, and sharing what I’ve learned to help others find confidence in their creative paths. For questions/work inquiries, please feel free to reach out to me via email: klaytoncarrasco4@gmail.com
